The American/Italian artist Antonella Mason, who also works in her studio near Venice, is visiting the Netherlands. She is going to partecipate in the residence program of the Venice Art Society. Art House De Bakkerij is associated with the program and offered her the opportunity of experiencing the Dutch culture, and spirit, for four weeks. The artist will be producing a huge painting in the studio of the Art House. The audience will have the possibility to watch her in action by making an appointment from Friday afternoon during the weekend hours till November 15th 2014. This event is creating a great occasion to visit the Art House in Bergen, Limburg, meet the artist and get to know her work.

While Antonella will be activly working, it will also be possible to visit the current international exhibition containing the lights art production of Claudio Cassano (Swiss), ceramic sculptures of Christien Dutoit (Belgium), paintings of Allan Madsen (Sweden) and Wlodzislaw Sier (Germany). This exhibition has recently started.
In November, Antonella Mason will lecture, as a visiting artist, for the first year students at Media Design ROC in Nijmegen. In site she will work with students to produce a painting while explaining her way of operating.
Lately she has been using acrylic on canvas; mainly her paintings are done in large formats, with colourful and abstract composition. She frequently works and exhibits in New York and Venice, where she lives. Around spring 2015 she will be exhibiting at De Bakkerij Art House.
